Laddie

Laddie with his new mum and sister Chiquita

Laddie came to us in August 2003. He was pretty scared at leaving his home but it was for his own good. His owner surrendered him as her foster children were tormenting him.
He has now found a forever home with Dorothy. He even has a Cocker sister named Chiquita...who seems to quite like him already!
In this picture, Laddie is on the left.

Lucy

Lucy arrived Dec 2000 from the Vancouver SPCA as a dog they had deemed "unadoptable". I could see from the moment I met her, through the eye, ear and skin infections, that she was one spunky dog with a great personality. She almost said "GET ME OUT OF HERE". That we did.
After much TLC she was adopted by Gerry & Gayle who DOTE on this princess.

Maggy

Maggy was an owner turn in due to a baby coming, June 2000. Interestingly enough, she was adopted to the family of Chad and Tanya who added to their family after she arrived. Maggy enjoys lots of camping and family events with all 5 kids!

Meisha

Meisha's picture will go here...when we get one

Meisha was turned in, July 2000, by her owner due to inability to look after her. She was overweight, had a thyroid condition and bad skin. she has since gone to live with Leanne and her family who have been able to care for her. She enjoys her new slim life with a cocker brother, Sunny and is loved by one and all....except maybe the bird.

Molly (#1)

Molly's pic will go here

Molly was a Maple Ridge owner turn in back in March 2002. She was a senior but it didn't take long for Janice to find her and bring her home. She thinks we tricked her about her age as she is CERTAIN she is younger.

Molly (#2)

molly1_lisamum_web.jpg

Molly is a young dog who came to us in May 2003 from the group we brought in from the puppymill surrender. She was neglected and had not been socialized will with humans. She had been used for breeding only.
Soon after her arrival at our Kelowna BC rescue centre, she started warming up to every one..carefully. In no time she was discovered by Lisa nd her Shih Tzu, Mr Tubbs who totally love Molly and I think the feelings are mutual. Molly is now living in Castlegar.

Molly (#3)

taffy.jpg

Molly came to us as Taffy from Washington State in Dec 2002. Her owner was too ill to care for her and she wanted us to place her in a good home. We did that, we thought, but they soon found no time for her. She was then placed with a retired couple who had lost their dog recently and were looking for that special girl. Molly fit right in and has won their hearts over and over again.
She is NOW in her forever home with Wes and Barb in Surrey BC.

Muggins

Muggins will hopefully have a picture here

Muggins came to us in May 2000 from California from another rescuer who was moving out of state. Being a puppy who had been fostered already for a period of time, we were able to place him quickly into the wonderful home of Randy and Sylvia in Maple Ridge BC.

Murray

Murray was surrendered by his owner in Kelowna to our Kelowna CSRBC Centre in March 2003. He is a wonderful boy who went to live with Harold and Karen in Naniamo BC
